A Rehabilitation Therapy Technician (Rehabilitation Council of India – CRR No: B105645), Certified Personal/Group Trainer, Certified Program Designer for Special & Older Population, Certified Functional Strength Trainer, A Pre-Level 1 Athletic Coach (Athletic Federation of India), Palliative Care Certified (Govt. District Hospital, Kerala), Certified Fitness Trainer (NSQF L4) and A Cyclist fuelled by a deep passion from a health and fitness perspective.
WHAT DO I DO?
I am the founder of MetaMovement Health Systems and our pioneering initiative – “Abhiyaan: Recreating yourself” envision a world where individuals are empowered to transform their lives through a holistic approach to health and fitness. Our vision is to be at the forefront of promoting well-being through Exercise Science, offering specialized programs in Pattern-Specific Training with Purpose & Practicality (performance/sport/goal) and Strength & Conditioning, Injury Management & Prevention, Geriatrics – Fall Prevention Therapy, Mobility Drills and Quadruped Movement Training that complements The Body’s Natural Biomechanics and Kinetics.
This commitment extends beyond physical fitness to foster a community dedicated to personal growth. We work closely with Physically Challenged Individuals in cases such as Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury, Paralysis, Amputees, Individuals recovering from Stroke, Wheelchair Management (Basic Level 1 Certified) and Assistive Devices/Technology.
‘Abhiyaan’ aims to redefine personal fitness journeys, encouraging individuals to embrace their potential, overcome challenges, and recreate themselves into healthier, stronger, and more resilient versions. We aspire to be a catalyst for positive change, making well-being accessible and achievable for everyone.
WHAT’S MY PURPOSE?
My purpose is threefold: To educate, To empower, and To Guide individuals on a transformative journey to RECREATE themselves by working on their Health-related components such as cardiorespiratory fitness, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance & Ideal body composition – and the Skill-related components encompassing speed, agility, power, static balance, dynamic balance, coordination, reaction time and proprioception.
I am driven by the aim to enhance an individual’s Quality of Daily Life by addressing imbalances in lifestyle and posture by establishing A Mind-Muscle-Joint Connection, fostering conscious movement that goes beyond mere physical fitness to contribute to overall well-being.
My purpose further extends to training and imparting science-based knowledge and experience in the fields of Rehabilitation and Exercise Science. This includes a commitment to nurturing aspiring Health & Fitness Professionals by Educating, Upskilling, Inspiring and equipping them with the expertise needed to make a positive impact in their respective domains.
WHO ARE MY CLIENTS?
My diverse clientele spans a broad age range, ranging from 10 to 75 years old. This includes students, teachers, doctors, physiotherapists, fitness professionals, individuals with desk jobs or working from home, cyclists, athletes, and those seeking injury management and rehabilitation. I cater to special populations, addressing the unique needs of individuals dealing with conditions such as PCOS, obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia, hypothyroidism, arthritis, osteoporosis, and the older population.
HOW DO I DO THIS?
To deliver science-based services effectively and responsibly, I collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary and a like-minded team. This includes working alongside Doctors, Physiotherapists, Nutritionists/Dietitians, and a distinguished Kalaripayattu & Marma Chikitsa Guru. This collaborative approach ensures a holistic and well-rounded perspective, allowing for comprehensive health and fitness solutions tailored to individual needs.
WHAT’S MY ATTITUDE?
I embrace the belief that age is merely a number, and the essence of youth is a mindset. My approach is rooted in continuous learning, and I maintain an unwavering passion for movement. I am dedicated to exploring ways to optimize the body’s efficiency while preserving tendons, ligaments, connective tissue, and joints to embrace longevity and enhance the quality of life. We actively participate and facilitate numerous workshops not only stay current but also contribute to the growth of future Fitness Professionals by imparting and transferring this knowledge.
